Our mission is to provide a timely coordinated, multidisciplinary approach to the investigation, prosecution and treatment of child physical and sexual abuse.


Executive Director/ Forensic Interviewer
Brooke Chesney, B.A. in Philosophy from Augustana College; J.D. Capital University Law School
Brooke was a Legal Aid attorney for 10 years and has a total of 11 years of experience working in the court system.  She has years of experience with interviewing and working with people from all walks of life.  She began working at the CAC in April 2017.

Case Manager Advocate
Amanda Giles, B.A. in Sociology/Anthropology from Monmouth College
Amanda has several years' experience working with children and families at the Discovery Depot Children's Museum in Galesburg.  She also has worked in the Galesburg Schools and St. Mary's Square. She began working at the CAC in July 2017.

MDT Coordinator/Forensic Interviewer
Theresa Kuhlmann, B.A. in English from Missouri Southern State University
Theresa has a communications background to help facilitate communication in group settings.  She has worked as a Communications Project Manager and Communications and Advocacy Consultant.  She began working at the CAC in August 2017.
